Location Data: Real-time location information to show nearby users and enable proximity-based matching
Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, including swipes, matches, messages, and feature usage
Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Create and manage your account
Provide matching services based on your preferences and location
Enable communication between matched users
Show you profiles of other users and show your profile to other users
Send you notifications about matches, messages, and app updates
Improve and optimize the App's features and user experience

3. How We Share Your Information

With Other Users

Your profile information (name, age, photos, bio, school, interests) is visible to other users of the App to enable matching and connections.

With Service Providers

We share your information with third-party service providers who help us operate the App:

Supabase: Database and authentication services (hosting in the United States)
Expo: Push notification delivery and app infrastructure

For Legal Reasons

We may disclose your information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to protect the safety of our users.

4. Location Data

Fuse uses real-time location data to:

Show you users nearby
Enable proximity-based matching in Live mode
Display approximate distance to other users

You can control location permissions in your device settings. Note that disabling location services may limit your ability to use certain features of the App.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You can delete your account at any time through the App's settings, which will remove your profile and personal information from our active databases.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your information:

Access: You can view and edit your profile information in the App
Deletion: You can delete your account through the App settings
Opt-Out: You can disable push notifications in your device settings
Location: You can disable location services in your device settings

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Fuse is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information immediately.
